Iguana Entertainment developed NBA Jam as a basketball arcade game for the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, with Acclaim Entertainment handling the publishing. The game also features a hidden characters system, letting players enter specific initials and pin codes on the team select screen to access secret players, including famous personalities from outside professional basketball.
