Ratchet and Clank Size Matters is a handheld action platformer released in 2007 for the PlayStation Portable. The story follows Ratchet, a Lombax mechanic, and his robotic partner Clank as they investigate the disappearance of a young girl named Luna. A new armor system lets players mix and match helmet, chest, and boot pieces from different sets to gain combat bonuses. Clank also gets his own platforming sections, this time with the ability to grow giant and fight massive enemies in town-stomping brawls. Multiplayer support adds competitive matches for up to four players over ad hoc or infrastructure modes, with deathmatch and capture the flag options on several maps. Skill points, hidden titanium bolts, and concept art collectibles give completionists plenty of reasons to revisit each stage.
