Shining in the Darkness is a first-person dungeon crawling role-playing game developed by Climax Entertainment and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis in 1991. The game puts players in the role of a young warrior named Alex, whose father has gone missing after a dark knight named Mortred seized control of the king’s castle. Players must venture into a massive underground maze called the Labyrinth of Darkness to rescue both the king’s daughter and Alex’s father.
